Speaking

I’m still working out why I like speaking so much and how the energy I have for my topics seem to be contagious.  It’s possible that speaking on webinars, on podcasts, in interviews, leading panel discussions and lecturing take me back to the days when I would tread the boards (I did a bit of acting in my youth). I don’t need a stage now and I can bring my own interesting questions.

My ability to communicate and connect with the audience brings me so much joy and when I’m able to involve them in my session, all the better.

I have had the privilege to teach at Eton College, a top London business school (previously associated with Escape Studios) and a number of the Global University System institutions.

I'm a regular guest on webinars and podcasts and I increasingly give keynotes on topics ranging from empathy, leadership, education, the way we work, remote work and of course, emotional intelligence. My largest keynote was delivered to a group of more than 1,000 Amazonians online (Emotional Intelligence at Amazon) and the most dynamic experience was with Marketing Week/Econsultancy involving 500 customer service experts from across the UK.
